Gang-rape case: Securing 'Florence'
MANILA, Philippines - Providing security for the country's medical workers is at the center of heated discussions after the gang rape of "Florence," a volunteer nurse in Maguindanao last week.
Six suspects arrested in connection with the gang rape are facing charges in Cotabato City.
"We have filed the case before the fiscal's office and it's now being scheduled by the fiscal in Cotabato City," said Sr. Supt. Federico Castro, Head of Task Force Joy, PNP-ARMM, on ANC's "The Rundown" Monday night.
Walk for Justice
Meantime, the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA), held a demonstration in Mendiola, Manila on Tuesday to demand justice for the 21-year-old victim.
"Joy," or "Florence" as the PNA refers to her, remains confined at a hospital in Cotabato City after being found unconscious near the hospital where she worked.
(Florence Nightingale is a celebrated English nurse who sought to help the sick out of sincere service. Those in the nursing profession look up to her as a heroine.)
Dr. Tita Barcelo, president of the PNA, said "Florence" was part of the second batch of the government's NARS Program that provides year-long training for nurses in areas that are underserved.

I observed that Justice of the Philippines was so lousy and hard to find justice. The Cause of the rape is the watching the rated X. Usually the children belongs for that kind crimes. On the news the percentage of the rape much more increase in year 2010.
It is the crime that hard to stop.

"SONA of President Noynoy Aquino"
It was not as shocking as what I expected, yet the first State of the Nation Address of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III made me cry. Those tears I shed were not tears of sadness, but of anger. Those were not tears of self-pity, but of silent rage.
Silent rage because until now, those responsible for the systematic rape of the Motherland continues on their extravagant lifestyle. They continue to live their lives without any charges against them. They feed their families with their loot, they pay the tuition fees of their children from the very monies we earn every single day with our blood and sweat, and they were able to buy properties left and right from the very monies we so gave the government when it should have benefitted our families.
President Noynoy Aquino’s State of the Nation address just showed a fraction of Philippine reality. It just showed how officials of the former dispensation abused their power and authority and their wanton disregard to the law and the morality of those laws.

The SONA of the president was so success but their many people was not satisfied of the president make to our country because of his first 100 days of being president there are many incidents and problem that the Philippines encountered. That is the cause of the rating of the president was lost. Now the people are not usually believe that the president strength.
'Juan' makes landfall in Isabela
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE 4) - Supertyphoon Juan (international codename: Megi) has made landfall in Divilacan Peak in Isabela province before noon Monday, weather bureau PAGASA said. As of 11:00 a.m., the typhoon was located 20 kilometers east from the coast of Palanan, Isabela or 80 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City. The typhoon is packing maximum sustained winds of 225 kph near the center and gusts of up to 260 kph and is moving in a west southwest direction at 17 kph.Sawi warned that "Ondoy-like" rains could affect parts of Northern Luzon as the typhoon slows down.Storm Signal No. 2 was hoisted in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, La Union, Rest of Aurora, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija and Polillio Island while Storm Signal No. 1 was hoisted in Metro Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Northern Quezon, Rizal, Laguna and Batangas.

Last day in Kidapawan City felt the hard rain that the Juan typhoon will here in our country. like in the news that the Juan is same with the "ONDOY" that the whole Luzon was all in vanished at all time. Ondoy was the corrupted Typhoon that our country encountered this tragedy. All in the Luzon area doesn't know what is the right way to make their life in a normal. Several of the resident of the Manila Area was died because of the typhoon. So when the JUAN came into our country all the people of Luzon Area was so ready with the Typhoon came to this country. Everyone's are helping each other.
"At least 57 dead in Maguindanao massacre"
The killings are the first reported violence related to the May 2010 polls, which are still a years past. Most of the victims are women. Some are members of the media.
In a phone interview with ABS-CBN News, Buluan Mayor Ibrahim "Jong" Mangudadatu confirmed that at least 30 bodies have been recovered as of Monday evening.
Earlier, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) spokesman Lt. Col. Romeo Brawner Jr. confirmed to the ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) that 13 female and 8 male bodies were found by members of the 601st Infrantry Brigade of the AFP around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Buluan vice mayor Ismael "Toto" Mangudadatu told ANC that his wife, Jenalyn, his sister, and some relatives were on their way to file a certificate of candidacy on his behalf when a group of about 100 armed men abducted them.
Mangudadatu, who is running for governor of Maguindanao, said some 15 media men who went to cover the event were also seized.

This crimes happened last year, but there is no justice of the victim. Because on the highest court was on the hiring state. That is most killing of the media personalities of the world. I saw the pictures of the victim I felt pity to theme and felt of madness of the suspect.
But why there is no justice to them? how can solve this problem that until now there was no result of the crime.
"Manila Hostage Taking"
August 23, 2010, ex-cop and former senior inspector Rolando Mendoza who has been charged by the office of the obudsman guilty of extorting money from chef Christian Kalaw, boarded a bus with 25 Hong Kong tourists and made them hostages in attempt to be reinstated into the police force. The hostage-taker and 8 Hong Kong nationals died during this tragic event.
There has been so much criticism of the Philippine SWAT team and their efforts in neutralizing the situation and saving the hostages. And today, Hong Kong and Chinese officials are said to be discouraging their residents to travel to the Philippines.
Rolando Mendoza was a high-ranking police officer and was even decorated 17 times for honor and bravery. He was even awarded as one of "Ten Outstanding Policemen of the Philippines" by Jacees International.
It was in 2008 when a certain chef Christian Kalaw accused him and other police officers of extorting money from him, planting methampethamine in his car and forcing him to swallow the drugs. The office of the ombudsman found Rolando Mendoza guilty of this and was relieved from his position and disqualified him from retirement benefits and government service.
Mendoza claimed that the there was no fair trial and that he is innocent from the accusations. This is what made him board that bus that day in hopes that he would be given fair trial and reinstated into his position in the Philippine National Police.

The Police of the Manila is lousy that everyone said.The Police make their effort to solve the problem, but many of them was on lousy in terms of of the gadgets.
